Our Journey: From Member Networks to a Permissionless DAO
Open DeFi is a blockchain underpinned protocol launched to build an open DeFi ecosystem for all and bridge DeFi across networks and markets. We have come forward with a global initiative to contribute to the developments of the DeFi ecosystem and boost greater economic inclusion with the help of our members.

The platform aims to drive collaboration of DeFi projects across borders & blockchain networks. With a program design for risk management, new liquidity strategies & innovation, Open DeFi aims to unite global CeFi & DeFi partners to drive the future of finance.
Our Journey
Open Defi was launched as an alliance with 30+ member networks referred to as members on our protocol. This community included some prominent and reputed DeFi & Web3 influencers, people, and projects from all around the globe. All the members have supported Open DeFi to get closer to its mission and strengthen our platform. This community shared a common belief: only values and endeavors immersed in non-tribalism, collaboration, exploration, and multi-chain at its core can make the future of DeFi brighter and optimal.
Turning into a Permissionless DAO
At Open DeFi, we believe that the rising Web3 is not a winner-take-all space like Web 2.0 but a more collaborative network of decentralized communities that are working for better internet and cooperative capitalism. Witnessing such effort in the network participants, early adopters, and builders, we introduce the Open DeFi DAO (OD DAO) to launch the most innovative & breakthrough DeFi projects of the next generation to generate long-term value by building and launching early-stage financial protocols, applications, tools, and infrastructure that support Open DeFi’s vision.

OD DAO will allow a permissionless membership so that anyone can join and participate in the DAO fully at any time. It will make the governance and operations of the OD DAO truly community-driven
